Drum & percussion lessons · Riga
Feel the music.
Be the groove.
I want my students to experience the feeling of playing music, not just practicing an instrument.
I started playing drums at the age of nine.

My Lessons
I believe musical instruments are meant to be played with other instruments. That is why musicality comes first in my lessons.

01 / THE DRUM KIT
My Approach to Drumming
Learning a wide range of grooves and musical styles gives a drummer more tools for expressing an idea. The more resources you have, the most expressive you can play.

02 / CONGAS & PERCUSSION
Conga & Latin Percussion
You don’t have to play salsa to love congas.
Let’s groove it with Funk, House, Rock, Disco, Jazz & much more!

What Drumming Means to Me
Drumming is not about how many paradiddles you can play, how many rudiments you know, or how fast you can play. It is about what you can transmit and express.
02 / Music first
Technique is the tool.
Music is the goal.
Not group therapy.
A PLACE FOR MUSIC.
From the very beginning, I want students to experience what it feels like to actually play music, rather than simply practice exercises.
We work with drums alongside bass, guitar, congas, percussion, and other instruments, developing the ability to listen, react and adapt to the whole image.

03 / My story
My Story
I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, a city with a strong rock music culture and a deep appreciation for live music.
I started playing drums at the age of nine.
For many years, music was both a hobby and a passion. More recently, I decided to open that part of my life to others and share my experience through my drum and percussion lessons.
“If you play a rhythm and people feel the groove and want to move, dance, or simply feel the energy of the music, then you are doing something right.”
My Musical World
My musical taste has always been broad.
I enjoy everything from classical music and classic rock to hard rock, metal, disco, funk, smooth jazz, reggae, fusion, synthwave and of course a touch of Latin music.
